Fan Questions Answered!

We love to answer your questions! Here is a great question that we thought we would share with everyone!
"Hi, Baby Quasar! I'm one of the first generation BQ users since about 8 years ago or so. I purchased my second BQ about 4 years ago after my original went missing from my checked airline luggage. My second one has newer, different housing than the Gen 1 BQ I had, but the technology is the same. I just now found you on FB and learned that you have a newer model with different technology, the BQ Plus with C-technololgy. I've looked all around trying to find out more details about just what C-technology is (other than it's stronger). Is there somewhere I can find more technical details about this so I can decide if I need to budget to upgrade my still perfectly functioning BQ? Thank you!"
C Factor technology is a very specific combination of wavelengths approved by the FDA for periorbital wrinkles and stimulating new collagen production (C stands for Collagen). Anti-aging-red/infrared light: The Quasar MD Plus and Baby Quasar Plus use specific light wavelengths to treat skin conditions and wrinkles due to aging. Used to treat periorbital lines and wrinkles, the Quasars stimulates the mitochondria, increasing cellular metabolism which helps to produce new collagen. Collagen is the most common protein found in the body. It is the essential protein used to repair and replace damaged tissue. It is the substance that holds cells together with a high degree of elasticity. tissue without collagen is stringy and lacks substance. As we age, our bodies produce less collagen. For this reason, as people age, their tissues, muscles, and skin tend to lack firmness and look less full. By increasing collagen, Quasar improves the skin, making it look younger, smoother, firmer, supple, and healthier.
