"Am I supposed to use or remove the plastic circular cover when using the Baby Blue? And I'm also wondering whether it would be bad for the eyes. Another thing is im wondering if the blue light is good for teeth whitening too?"

We recommend that you leave the lens cap on the device while doing treatments.  The lens cap helps reduces the optical energy, leaving the lens cap off may be too much energy for someone with sensitive skin. You always want to move your Baby Quasar device in slow circular motions to help distribute the energy more evenly on the skin. You never want to put the device directly over your eyes. Blue light is great for killing acne bacteria, we have no scientific proof about blue light and teeth whitening at this time. Thank you for your Questions!!

What is C Factor Technology?

C Factor technology is a very specific combination of wavelengths approved by the FDA for periorbital wrinkles and stimulating new collagen production (C stands for Collagen). Some people with sensitive skin may experience redness if holding the device in one spot for 3 minutes. You need to use caution when using your device, if you start to experience redness, make sure that you are moving the device around in a circular motion. Also, if your using the device for more than 18 minutes,be sure to let the device cool for 15 minutes to protect your warranty! The C factor technology is designed to help with periorbital wrinkles.

"My Quasar MD Plus heats up during my treatment, I can feel handle getting warm (NOT hot) Is this normal?"

First of thank you for your question and reaching out to us on Facebook! Yes, this is normal. If using your device for an extended period of time (about 18 minutes), be sure to shut off for 15 minutes to let it cool down after a full face treatment.

We are so happy to hear you are getting such great results! Yes, the red light is really great at calming, healing and reducing redness. Many customers report that the red light has reduced hormonal acne breakouts.

Side effects and Baby Quasar

Have you been thinking about investing in a Baby Quasar device? Are you wondering if there are any negative side effects from using a Baby Quasar device?  When it comes to using light therapy we recommend that you follow the directions. If you start to notice that that your skin is becoming excessively dry, you may want to use your Baby Q less frequently. This is a sign that you may be over using your device. Always remember to moisturize after your treatment! If you use your device in the morning always remember to use an SPF before you go out in the sun. If you use your device at night make sure that you moisturize really well after each treatment and you will be good to go!

"When using the MD red do I hold it still in one spot until the light goes out or do I circle it around an area (if so how large an area?) or do I move it around my whole face?"

You are always going to start with a clean, dry face (apply your favorite serum, if you choose). You can section your face off into 6 sections treating each area for 3 minutes. You always want to move it around in a circular motion (never leave it in one place). You can use it 5 days a week for 8 weeks, then use as needed (1-2 times a week). A full face treatment takes about 18 minutes. (FDA cleared for treating periorbital wrinkles, but can be used in other areas). Let us know if you have any other questions!
